Router is MI424WR-GEN2. I picked up a Chromecast audio yesterday. When I brought it home, got it connected, it worked for about 30 minutes, then I noticed that the internet stopped working from all my devices. I couldn't connect to the router either. I thought nothing of it and reset the router, and it worked again.
Tonight, however, when I used it again, it killed the internet again. This time, however, I couldn't get the router to come back up. It went from showing just the amber light on the internet light, to now showing anything for internet or WAN, coming up and working for about 10 minutes, then freezing again. Very weird. This was even after I turned the Chromecast off. Almost an hour later, I finally got the router to come back on and things are working. I'll see how long it works until another issue happens.
Has anyone else noticed weird behavior with this type of router and a Chromecast? Thanks.
