G1100 Devices keep losing access to Internet

For the past month or so my G1100 Router has gone offline for no apparent reason. Basically all devices lose connection to it, and therefore no Internet. I can't ping the gateway for about a minute sometimes before it comes back online. Other times I have to simply unplug any of the Ethernet cables from the back of the router and plug back in then everything is back to normal. I can't figure out what is causing it. I can still ping all devices internally just can't get to the internet during the issue. Has anyone seen such errors? Any suggestions? I am pretty sure this has nothing to do with my it seems to always occur when I start using my Windows 8.1 laptop either on Ethernet or Wifi. Already had the Router replaced and that didn't help. Setup my old Actiontec router for a week and the issue never occurred. I just don't get what could be wrong with the G1100 if both my old one and new one they just sent me behave the same way. :( :( Router info: UI Version: v1.0.149 Firmware Version 0.26.47 Model Name: FiOS-G1100 Hardware Version: 1.03
