My contract is due in a month and so far online chat with the rep yielded slightly more expensive renewal option with less channels (so worst package and more expensive)... :(
I read a few (older, from 2014) posts online about folks that managed to get new customer deals when they had their spouse call and open a new account.
Do you know if that still works or did Verizon 'closed that loophole'?
I tried to check if a package is available for my address (using a brand new computer that I never used before so no previous sessions/cookies) and was told to call the office because there's a problem with the address I entered. I assume I got this message because we currently have a fios contract at this address.
Assuming this is still possible how should I/spouse approach Verizon?
