Hi, so I have the Actiontec Rev F which only has 100 megabit ports. I just ordered a TP-LINK TP-WDR3600 for its superior wireless capabilities and for its gigabit ports. I planned to use the 3rd setup listed in the router configuration FAQ (Secondary LAN-to-LAN) and planned to disable the wireless functionality of the MI424-WR.
My question is will my home network will be limited to 100 megabits through this setup? I'm not exactly knowledgeable about networking and not sure if the traffic between two devices on my network will go through the Actiontec as well and thus be limited by its ports.
Thanks.
EDIT: Actually, in that FAQ, what does "On-screen caller ID" refer to? Is it supposed to be something that appears on the TV? Because I'm going to have FiOS Internet and Digital Voice but no TV package, and I initially interpreted the "On-screen caller ID" to mean just regular caller ID on the phone. If caller ID will work regardless of the router configuration, then I'll just be able to use the MI424-WR as a bridge.
