I'm on the newer gpon and using ethernet from my ont to my pc. Using the gigabit actiontec router with the red band on it. I wanted to know do I even need to plug the coax into it? Or can I just run ethernet? I have ethernet from my ont to the router then to my pc. I'd like to get rid of the coax if possible.
