Have been running Netflix on Cox broadband on Vizio Smart TV since Dec.2013 without issues. Got FIOS installed on Friday and suddenly Netflix won't load on same TV (error message - unable to connect). Have done all of the following: rebooted router and TV, switched from Ethernet to wifi and back again, deactivated Netflix on smart TV (multiple times - waited more than the suggested 8 hours), deactivated ALL devices on Netflix websites restored Vizio TV to factory settings, reinstalled all apps, deleted and reinstalled just Netflix app, disconnected cable box running just on Ethernet. Netflix works fine across the FIOS connection on other devices such as tablets.
FIOS swears (rudely) it's not them and it must be Vizio. Netflix claims it's FIOS or that my Smart TV just doesn't work anymore (what????). Vizio tried valiantly to help including inputting static DNP address. vizio thinks it could be something with FIOS security settings, but they are not sure. At this point, I'm ready to cancel the FIOS. It may not be actively their fault, but the problem only appeared immediately following FIOS installation, so one would think they would try harder to help figure it out.
Help!
