When I try to go to http://www.permatex.com (they make adhesives and sealants) I get redirected to a Network Solutions website that looks like the attached image. The address bar says I'm on permatex.com. It doesn't matter if I type in the URL or try to go there from a Google (or Bing) link. This isn't associated with only one computer on my network but all of them, including one I just loaded W7 onto and brought online today - clean. W7 or XP, Firefox or IE, it doesn't matter.
I had 4.2.2.2 & 4.2.2.3 set into my Actiontec (which all networked computers use as their DNS server) as the default DNS servers. I changed them to the IPs for OpenDNS (208.67.222.222 & 208.67.220.220) with the same re-direct result. I forced two of the machines to use OpenDNS as their default server - nada.
When I pinged permatex.com, it returned an IP of 205.178.187.13 which is registered to Network Solutions (the ping timed out).
To add insult to that, my daughter and spousal unit CAN get to the correct Permatex site from computers that are on different ISP's networks located a few miles away from me.
I've gone through the virus scan (negative), browser cache, history and cookie clear and DNS flush, ad nauseam, on all my machines and even hard reset the router - no change. I have no issues with any other sites. I even tried an older Linksys router with the same results.
I'm beginning to think it's a FiOS problem in my area. Just wondering of there are any ideas about what might be going on.
