Alright so I know a lot of this has been discussed to death, but I haven't had to do this in a few years now so I'm rusty with it. We have a FIOS Business connection with Static IP. We have television service and a SonicWall for our Firewall / Router.
What we have is ONT Ethernet > Sonicwall > Networkswitch > Actiontech > Coax of Actiontech to Splitter
I have a green LAN Coax light on, on the Actiontech, however I'm still not getting connectivity on the boxes.
The Internet works fine and has for months through the SonicWall but now I'm finally getting down to troubleshooting the guide data. The actiontech is connected to the network switch via a LAN port on the Aciontech. I have disabled DHCP / DNS Server, set the IP of the aciontech to be a IP on the local network which I can access just fine. However the boxes still don't get data connectivity. \
The cablebox shows up on the Aciontech and I'm able to ping its IP.
I've tried running a diagnostic from the Actiontech and pinging google or checking for firmware update but the router claims there's no internet connectivity. I have a wireless accesspoint connected to the Aciontech Switch and that gets internet access no issue, so I know the switch function is working properly.
Ideas?
