Painfully slow accessing VOD after bridging MI424WR Rev. I

Hi all, I was able to bridge the ActionTec MI242 Rev I and made the Asus RT-N66U the primary router. Everything is working so far except for the TV portion - I can access the channels , but accessing widget resulted in error with something like the box has no network and also accessing Video on Demand is painfully slow.
