Since yesterday afternoon I have been receiving emails letting me know about an outage
"An issue has been detected impacting the use of Verizon FiOS services, including Internet, email, Video on Demand, as well as telephone services. Please visit www.verizon.com/outage to request automatic updates, and for more information"
Originally was supposed to be fixed yesterday evening but I keep getting updates with new estimated restoration date/times, now up to 21-AUG-13 13:48:00.
The thing is that none of my VZ services (internet, tv, voice) have been down at all. Seems strange that they can't keep track of who is impacted by an outage.
Also have received two pop-up alerts on my VZW cell phone from the "Verizon FIOS" app that literally say only "Message" with a continue button on the bottom. Great job guys.
