MoCA and Ethernet, Actiontec, and Apple Airport

I currently have an Actiontec router over MoCA. I have test at roughly 57/32 right now and I have rewired my house for Cat 6. I have run Cat 6 to the ONT and am thinking about eliminating the Actionec and switching to Ethernet. I assume this will give me a little less latency. It will also give the potential for ditching the Actiontec. I have an Apple Time Capsule (as well as an Airport Extreme), either of which I could use as a router, plus I have a Netgear managed gigabit switch to shunt around traffic around the LAN. I have read the directions on how to make the switch and have a couple of questions. First, I don't use the Verizon Media Manager, but I do use the FiOS Mobile Remote on iPhone and iPad. I don't want to lose this as it is the best way to record on the DVR. Yes, we want video on demand, yes we want DVR. Would this preserve our DVR and the Fios Mobile Remotes? ONT->Airport Extreme->Netgear Switch->Actiontec->Coax to TV For what it's worth, I do have a second Actiontec router in a box somewhere. Thanks for all your help.
