Older Rev. of MI424WR or 9100EM as MoCA Bridge

I am going to bid on eBay some used MI424WR or 9100EM to use as MoCA bridges. I am going to hook up my own switches and AP’s to them. In this scenario, since I am using the MI424WR or 9100EM purely as MoCA bridges but not their switching and wifi functions, I am guessing that the older revisions are just as good as the newer ones, right? The older rev. ones have slower CPU and less RAM (for the MI424WR anyway, I can't find any info on the different rev. for the 9100EM) but they are a lot cheaper than the newer one. And, for this application, is there any significant difference between the MI424WR and 9100EM? Thanks in advance.
