Hi,
Relative in 718-969 exchange, NYCQNYNJ, POTS and DSL. Phone service has been acting up, intermittent loss of dial tone for the past week. Verizon repair either can't or won't fix it, they say must upgrade to FiOS, copper is in bad shape, repair is not possible.
Anyone here been in a similar situation? Since this is a forced upgrade not of our choosing, there should not be an installation fee, correct?
