Question about FiOS E-Mail

Hello all. I'm new to posting on this site but have referred to it for info in the past. I was hoping someone in the know might be able to help me. Pardon the length of this post but I want to give as much detail as possible. Thanks in advance to anyone who reads this. I've had FiOS Triple Play for 6 years now without a problem on any component (TV, Net, Phone). Recently, I "upgraded" to Quantum...mainly for the DVR, but I was forced to upgrade from 50/50 to 75/75 to support it. This required a new router which honestly works much better than the old one. So far I'm very happy with everything but one issue started from the moment I switched: My email seems to connect and disconnect intermittently. I have three computers at home and two smart phones. The three computers are all Windows 10/Outlook 10. What happens is, with my Outlook running, at various times during send/receive (no rhyme or reason as to when), a box will pop up saying the server rejected my password. My password is correct, I just click OK and it goes away. The send/receive is at times VERY slow. The box pops up while I'm working and takes priority over whatever I'm doing (so if I'm typing, I'm now typing in the password field and my file took a back seat). It's quite frustrating. The simple fix would be to leave Outlook off, but who works without their email running in the background? I will also get periodic notifications from my phones saying that the server rejected the email passwords. This all started the day I switched to Quantum. Customer Service at first told me that there were server issues. After a couple of weeks, they sent me an email assuring me that all of the server issues had been corrected. But this continues, and no one at Verizon has a clue as to why. I've spoken to numerous reps at Verizon, as well as supervisors, and no one there is aware of any server issue affecting my area...I'm the only poor schnook around here experiencing this. They logged in to my PC remotely and determined my settings were correct (I knew this; it worked fine for 5+ years) and told me that since webmail works, there is no problem. I countered by saying that there is no real way to recognize the intermittent connection on webmail. Everything DOES work, but the connection is intermittent and I constantly have to clear dialog boxes to get my mail. The best analogy I can give you is my connection seems like a strobe light, cycling on and off repeatedly. It doesn't happen all the time...it seems fine at night and early morning..it gets progressively worse towards the middle of the day. As this happens on my phone's network as well (ie, when I'm not at home) I tend to think it can't be any of my home equipment. It almost seems like web traffic...isn't that where Verizon is supposed to excel? Does anyone have any idea what this is? Is anyone else experiencing it? Thanks again in advance.
