Last I heard (about a half a year ago), when you crossed the 75/75 boundary for FiOS Quantum Internet they switched the ONT over the Ethernet. However, I spoke with Verizon today - partly because my Gen III Rev. I Router's WAN Coax keeps dropping the connection which is par for the course with my Actiontecs (they seem to die after about six months according to Verizon's record even though they are kept in the coldest and non-dustiest location of the house while my AC routers have 2 year life spans) and while they are sending a FiOS Quantum Gateway since I did the upgrade to 100/100 they aren't sending a technician to switch the ONT over to Ethernet and wire in a cable for Ethernet to the router.
They said the system only shows that the router needs to be sent.
Is that normal?
