Before I pick up the phone and talk to whatever drones are on the other end, what are my steps?
I'm internet only, new install with a tiny ONT. PWR and BAT are green, FAIL is red, POTS is blinking green. Power cycled ONT a few times.
The only hint I have is that many miles away the police have sent an alert about a traffic accident that coincides with my first page about my line being down. I'm guessing that's the real problem, but the route is weird - I'd have to double back past the CO for the accident to be in the path between my home and the CO. And of course my old DSL line is working fine, because it takes much more than Sandy or the like to take that old beast down.
