May Be Getting Fios Phone and Internet Soon

I may be getting Verizon Fios very soon. Something's wrong with my outside copper wiring and Verizon refuses to fix it. My problem is that I'm in the middle of renovations and don't have time for this crap. I have a mess all over the place where the new wiring would typically be installed (outside my property and in my basement). It will take more than six months to get this all cleaned up. In the meantime, I have no phone or internet (dialup). I want to get Fios (who wants dialup?), but I don't have the time to clean all this up. I need to know how Verizon installs the new inside wiring? I plan to only get phone and internet from them, I'm keeping my current arrangement with Comcast for TV. The old wiring goes down into my basement and then up through the ceiling into the kitchen and through the rest of the house. Would Verizon be able to run their new wiring so it doesn't go into the basement at all? Ideally, I'd like it to run from the new outside box (ONT?) along the side of the house and then into my kitchen. From there it needs to go upstairs on the opposite side of the house. I also have two choices of where to get it installed from. I live beside two roads. The main road would be a longer distance as the wiring would have to go up my driveway which is kind of long. The side road is where all my utilities come from and is much shorter. However, getting it from there may be a longer more complicated process (long story). Also, how much of it is rg6? I'm confused as I've heard different things. Thanks, Kate_H
