Im completely out of my depth here. I just purchased an HP laser printer (model M277dw) and plugged it into my Actiontec router (M1424WR) and absolutely nothing has happened. Its supposed to be as easy as plug an ethernet cable (provided by HP) into the router and the printer and tada you're good to go. Well, not so much.
Ive tried to Add Printer through my W7 OS to no avail.
The LAN lights arent even illumintaed, clearly there is no communication taking place. How do I get these two communicating? I accessed the router configuration through a browser and the printer isnt listed, so obviously the router doesnt see the printer.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
