I have a Quantum Router and the Quantum multi room set-top box setup.
I've set custom SSID's on the wcb300N, but when the router is rebooted, they return to the default of the router. I'm trying to have the users see 4 independent radios.
Now...for the wrinkle. Because the wcb300N isn't Moca 1.0 compatible, it won't work with the TV setup...it kills some channels.
So I got an Actiontec MoCA 2.0 Ethernet to Coax Adapter (ECB6000S02). I'm using that off the splitter to convert from Moca to ethernet, then I plug a ethernet patch cord between the coax adapter and the wcb300n. Works like a charm, except for the the SSID's resetting. I can login to the primary router and to the wcb300n.
The main router is always assigning the wcb300n the same local ip address, as expected.
Any ideas?
