Let me start off by saying I'm not a techie, so with that in mind here's my problem:
My current FiOS router (MI424WR REV: I) is located in a room about 90 ft (and 4 walls) from the master bedroom. Although the wifii signal is pretty good in most other rooms it is just about non-existent in the master bedroom.
You know what they say about 'happy wife, happy life', well my wife would love to use her iPad in bed but it will not stay connected to the internet in the master bedroom and she is very upset.
I happen to still have our original FiOS router (REV: E) so I was wondering if I can set it up in the master bedroom to acquire a stronger wifi signal there without having to run cables between the two rooms/routers. A friend said that he's read about doing that using powerline internet adapters, but couldn't provide any further info. Is that doable and if so, how do I go about that? :huh:
