Everytime I do an online search for FIOS in my area, I put in my address and they tell me I can get FIOS 150/150. Hooray!
Everytime I call they tell me that the maximum speed I can get is 15/15 not 150/150. They then tell me that 15/15 is high speed, and nobody needs more than that. If that is the case, why do they ever offer 150/150? I point out that a dial-up modem goes 5, so their internet is 3 times faster than dialup? Uh, that is not fast.
Verizon also assures me that their internet is not shared with 500 other people and it is a dedicated line.. yet.. as I am typing this people are complaining about slow speeds and that between 7pm-11pm they suffer over saturation and the speed drops from 75 down to 5.
I am also not enthusiastic about their 2 year commitment. I don't want to get stuck with 2 years of something that doesn't do what is advertised.
