[Networking] New Cat wired router with Bridge

Hi All, I just upgraded to 100/100 and they changed the cabling to the router from MoCa to Cat5. Now, what happens to my bridge that is wired with MoCa. The MoCa to the bridge comes from the TV box via a splitter. No more MoCa to the router. How does the Bridge get its signal if not (coax) connected to the router? Installer told me that the bridge was just fine they way it is. Can this be true with no Cat5 connecting the bridge? Thank you in advance.
