I want to upgrade from 100/100 to 150/150 and the rep claims she needs to sent a tech out while I am already on ethernet previously I upgraded from 75/75 to 100/100 at first I kept on telling her I am already on ethernet and my ont supports the speeds. I understand the tech needed to come for the 75/75 to 100/100 upgrade well all he did was switch ont to ethernet lol and gave me new verizon router.
I have the alcatel lucent ont I know for sure it supports 150/150 speeds of course I am also on GPON. I told her to let me speak with a supervisor so then she didn't do it any spoke with tech support she said because I am on "COAX" they have to schedule a tech then I told her I am not on COAX I am on ethernet.
Here are pics of my ont. Were they telling me the truth or not? do I have to call again and ask to speak with someone who knows what he/she is talking about?
