Decided to switching from Cox Communication to Verizon FiOS since it available. So installation will be on next Monday. Since I built my own server with pfsense firewall, switches, etc. but I have some questions about get prepared for FiOS. Also internet speed is on 150/150
I researched throughout the forums and other website about run pfSense firewall on primary and secondary is FiOS router, any various about that. I know that FiOS router is required for VOD, Guide, and MOCA for all box tv.
Can I do with primary pfSense firewall and put DMZ on FiOS router for VOD, Guide data, and anything?
Is ONT to FIOS or pfSense via Ethernet possible?
Is FiOS router have VLAN to run on any application for switches?
I want to try make best way as possible for setup for new FiOS and few issue I have are using VPN Server, VLAN for guest, and advanced setup with pfSense.
