I've been paying $99 (excluding tax) for Extreme HD and 75/75 Internet for the last 12 months. I have a promotion ending soon on the 75/75 internet in which beginning next month, I would have to shell out an additional $5, thus $104.99 (Excluding Tax, etc) for another year as per the current agreement. Currently, on my add/remove service page, I'm given the option to upgrade to 100/100 retaining my current contract / existing agreement (1 year remains) and TV service for $5 more per month, but that's only applicable for one month. Thereafter, the price goes from $104.99 to $109.99 (for Extreme HD and 100/100 Internet) for another 11 months. Does anyone have advice in what I should do? Should I downgrade to 50/50 and pay $89 (excluding tax and others), or should I contact customer service to opt for 100/100 mbps for the price of 75/75? I'm currently renting the Quantum Gateway Router.
