Switched from Business class to Residential last week. Ordered 50/50 but changed my mind, called back to make it 150/150 a few days before install. Rep screwed up the order, and I ended up back at 50/50 and discounts lost. Grrr....
Called again and rep said to have the technician request a field upgrade. Did that, he made the call, and they sent me a revised quote via email. I accepted.
Service at 150/150 was installed. Couple days later I checked my bill, and it was $10/mo. higher than the verbal quote (plus email confirmation quote).
So on 7/24, I downgraded my service from 150/150 down to 50/50. Order supposedly processed.
Order showed status was "complete" later in the day on 7/24.
Now, 2 days later, the "my services" tab shows me at 50/50 and the "change" options include an upgrade to higher tiers...... but billing is still at the higher tier.... and my speed is still provisioned at 150/150.
Don't these online service changes usually take effect the same day? It's 2-1/2 days later and nothing apparently changed.
Given the billing nightmares everyone has seen, should I be preparing for a fight with Verizon for a "processed" order that is obviously not processed?
