Any thoughts on dropping TV service and just keeping Internet and Phone services?
When I called them they quoted me around $110/m for 50/50 Internet + Phone. Best of all the quoted amount included all taxes and fees and was without any contract.
That it 24% lower than my existing $145/m I pay for Triple Play.
The thing is I think that I can easily replace the TV I watch combination of new Roku+Amazon Prime+cheap antenna for local channels.
The problem is the monthly costs of those set top boxes + TV fees is raising my bill like almost 50% which is nuts for the little TV I do watch, I watch like 3, perhaps 4, channels max and that just nuts.
So what do you all think is $110/m a good deal for just 50/50 Internet + Phone or should I switch for example to Comcast for like 6m - 12 m and then switch back to Verizon as a new customer? That would I think save me even more on Internet and TV in the long run just keep switching between the two as soon as the new customer discounts expire, cause the regular pricing is just becoming unaffordable.
