Turning off Routing fuction of 9100VM and using Linksys AC1200

Long time lurker, first time poster. I've seen several threads on disabling the Routing functions of the 9100VM modem/router for use with VDSL2 in FiOS setups, but I've never really gotten a concrete answer or solid instructions on how to do so. This thread almost gets you there, but then it's disjointed and I don't understand the final steps to do it - http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r22210109-Westell-UltraLine-Series-3-9100VM-Bridging-Make-modem-only I would like to remove all routing duties from the 9100VM at this point, having purchased a new Gigabit + AC router. In the past, I just had an old E3000 router set up as a wireless access point, passing all of the routing to the 9100VM, but even at times, the wifi sucked and would drop in and out. Some days I would get full throughput when downloading something on my laptop, other days it would crawl. I'd hopefully like to get beyond all of that by bridging/turning off the 9100VM's router. Has anyone successfully done this or can offer any help? I simply cannot figure out the steps from the dozen other threads out there.
