Set up was Internet v ethernet cat7 to Actiontec Router WAN, Coax to router for cable TV guide & DVR. W Actiontec on the phone installed the wireless/wired extender. 1st he checked my modem/router , it was the correct model. He said older ones had to be configured but not this one a WI424WR Rev.1. When into other room screwed in Coax into WCB300N. It copied the broadcast ID (SSID)sinked in with WI424WR Rev 1 then functioned as one unit. One shows as Wireless and the other as Wireless 5.5. Wireless 5.5 was week in far part of the home so switch to Wireless which is 2.4 GHz set to what ever frequency is on Channel 9 to receive strongest signal from WCB3000N This unit also has two Ethernet ports for PC , NAT Etc.. Its a very powerful unit and easy to set up if you DONT CALL VERIZON until Actiontec says to call them and what to tell them. I assure you Verizon does not care to provide teck support to the public, even if you pay for it. Three days on the phone with these people, none had a grip on how the system really worked or what can be done with it. So I have a right to say this in all sencerity. Plus they bricked my dd wrt router when they turned off my internet in the middle of a flash. So I had no choice but to go with Actiontec's advice, device and experienced support. Verizon is slick in that you are very controled by them. I have no issues on my Ethernet conection, its as good if not better than the RJ 6. I don't have any fiber coming to my house its all the same as Comcast no better no worse. This is in thanks for all the support y'all have given me in the past. Thank you
