Hi all,
I am pretty sure I have exhausted all the threads here on similar topics and most of them were 4-5 years old and didn't address the modem/router hardware I have. Apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere but pointing me in the right direction would be helpful.
I've wasted two weekends on this now and am about to give up. I want to convert the AT into a bridge so my own router (Asus RT-N56U) can act as primary on my network - better wireless, more devices, single NAT, etc.
I have successfully gotten internet through the Asus router but can't manage to link back to the AT in order for VOD connectivity because on the firmware for my AT device the coax/ethernet connection is one singular connection that I can't split.
I can't find solutions elsewhere on the internet either - this is the closely I've come: http://forums.verizon.com/t5/Home-Networking/MI424WR-Rev-I-Bridge-with-VOD-setup/td-p/434671/.
Any help? Has anyone done this successfully, and if so - how? Thanks in advance.
