There is a post on the Verizon forums that says the Quantum router firmware upgrade will be released on 1/22/2015. It has guest WiFi, enhanced parental controls and MyFiOS APP integration.
I have every reason to believe the poster has accurate information.
Can't wait to get this upgrade!
