TV, Phone and Internet keeps going down

I was wondering if someone can help me. Since last Sunday my TV, Phone and Internet keeps going down. At first I thought my entire area was down but when I called Verizon I found that it was just my home. They had me do all sorts of unplugging and battery removal etc to no avail. After about an hour the tech had me remove the battery from the ONT and just leave it plugged in to the electric outlet and somehow service was restored. He put in a service request for someone to come and check out why this happened. Well it stayed on until Tuesday when it went out again. This time a repair man from Verizon came out and decided that the equipment located on the outside of my house needed to be replaced. Ok replaced it and things good until the following day. Same repair man came again and this time replaced my battery (only a year old). Things worked again until Friday night at 8PM down it went again. Again we tried plugging things and unplugging things to no avail. Was so frustrated that I couldn't deal with talking to the verizon people from 1-800-Verizon so I just decided to cool off and wait until Saturday morning to call it in again. Well all of a sudden at 1AM in the morning everything is back up and running. I just don't understand what is going on. I've had Fios for several years with no problems. We haven't changed anything in our home. Is there anyone who could give me some incite as to what or why this happening. Sorry for such a long post but any help would certainly be so appreciated. By the way I am a 64 year old lady with minimal tech knowledge.
