I've read through the great FAQS for fios networking and just want to do a quick sanity check regarding moca.
I have an Adaptec router (wireless off) feeding my own wireless router. I've confirmed moca connection alive from a coax outlet in another room. I don't use STB, just Tivo/cable cards.
My (perhaps malformed) understanding is that I could get the following:
http://www.amazon.com/ACTIONTEC-Theater-Network-Adapter-ECB3500T01/dp/B00CZ6WC3A
and use the coax in/out to run from jack to adapter to Tivo (coax) and run cat5 to devices like Roku, Xbox etc.
Is that about it? I'm a little tired of fighting my wifi mongering neighbors. Looking for some nice consistent HQ video streaming.
Appreciate the help, or tell me to RTF FAQ again.
