I have FIOS over copper (Zyxel DSL modem + most recent generation Actiontec router + my own router as primary, setup was done this way: http://www.dslreports.com/faq/15992). Data and coax used to be in same room, plus additional coax in TV room, and everything was hooked up fine. However I recently had home renovated and contractor screwed up: coax is near TV but nowhere else, and data is several rooms away. As a result I have Internet and TV working but no more STB services.
Is there any way to solve this without opening up the walls and running cable? For example: (1) some way to wirelessly transmit coax from TV room to data room, or (2) Put Actiontec in TV room and connect it to coax, and then somehow wirelessly bridge that to my primary router?
Any help appreciated - thanks!
